The fabulous city of St Petersburg has become the destination of choice for cultured travellers from all over the world. When it once again became open to visitors a decade ago, Theo Fabergé’s St Petersburg Collection promised to bring a group of friends and collectors to visit each year.
We believe we have developed an expertise which is truly unsurpassed in showing visitors the palaces and royal residences, the parklands and gardens, the museums and galleries, together with the secret places which only the initiated can find in this most beautiful city in the world.
Our programme is composed in cooperation with the Curators and Directors of the Palaces and Museums. Many of the features we include are not available on any other tour. You will find that Theo Fabergé’s direct descendance from the Warrant-Holder to the Imperial Court ensures deference and respect wherever we go! Being a Fabergé family tour of course there has to be a surprise.

For the summer of 2008, the St Petersburg Collection is once again planning its exclusive tour of the magnificent city of St Petersburg and its surrounding Palaces and Parklands.
The highlights of the Tour include but this is not a full list
We shall stay at the elegant Hotel Astoria, overlooking the gold dome of St Isaac’s Cathedral. Built in 1903, the Astoria is one of the most highly-respected hotels in northern Europe. The accommodation includes all the comforts of a 5 star hotel and is the Hotel used by President Putin’s guests.
We will visit the Peterhof Palaces and Parks. The magnificent summer residence of the Imperial Family is famous for its cascades and fountains, and some of the palaces will be opened that day solely for our guests (normally there are over 10,000 visitors in one day!) We will be shown treasures not normally on public display.

|
At the State Hermitage Museum; containing some of the finest works of art and treasures in the world, we will be greeted by one of the Hermitage’s leading Directors and we do not queue to enter!
A river and canal cruise will take us around St Petersburg. With the sun shining, this can be the best way to view the superb architecture of the city.
The Director will be your host when you visit the Palaces and Gardens of Tsarskoye Selo including the Catherine’s Palace with its famous Amber Room, and Alexander Palace. You are promised a very special programme!
Black Tie Dinner in a unique setting - the Fabergé family opens doors.
